Biography

Mr. Thompson and his wife, Lori (a Rockford native and East High School graduate), were married in 1991. Lori is an instructor at OSF-St. Anthony’s College of Nursing, a provider with the Carrie Lynn Center and through the MERIT program as a pediatric nurse practitioner and as an instructor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. They have one child, Michael, and reside in Loves Park.

Mr. Thompson has been involved in musical activities since high school, soloing and performing in choirs and quartets at the collegiate, church and semi-professional level. He enjoys reading, anything musical and working outdoors—following his father’s footsteps in carpentry work and a love of working on the farm
