Robin was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. Before becoming an Attorney, Robin practiced a Pathologists’ Assistant in surgical and autopsy pathology. Prior to joining the firm, her practice of law was focused on Medicare compliance in workers’ compensation cases. During law school, Robin was a member of the Northern Illinois University Law Review, clerked for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court, was a 711 intern with the Boone County Public Defender’s Office, and completed a one-year internship with the Federal Defender Program of the Northern District of Illinois, Western Division.

Robin, her husband, and their three children currently reside in Belvidere, Illinois. Robin is a huge fan of wheelchair basketball and her son’s wheelchair basketball team, the Rockford Junior Chariots.
